OpenRoad Poetry is a Poetry & Open Mic event in Jersey City benefiting local venues & non-profit organizations.

FREE Virtual and Live Performances

Our vision is to provide artists a platform to network & share their work, opening up to a poetic road of limitless possibilities.

ORP is working with @Walk_Bye and Jersey City Parks Coalition for JCAST 2020 to present physical distancing performances in line with OcTREEber and Nature theme of Walk-bye’s open call.

OpenRoad Poetry is a platform and community for poets and artists to network and share their work. Located in Jersey City, the project is co-produced by Crystal Letters LLC and Rescue Poetix TM. Proceeds from ORP events are donated to benefit local venues & non-profit organizations. OpenRoad Poetry is a poetic road of limitless possibilities.

OpenRoad Poetry has featured Rashad Wright (Jersey City Poet Laureate), Talena Lachelle Queen(Paterson Poet Laureate), Just Putt (Jersey City Poet and Hip Hop Artist). Jessica Munoz, Max DiBiaggio, Godsend, Dujuana Sharese, Thais Sharell as well as numerous ope mic performers of various disciplines
