Apply Today! JCPC 3rd Annual Summer Employment Program: Park Ambassadors

We’re launching 3rd Annual “JCPC Park Ambassador & Farmer’s Market Ambassador Seasonal Employment Program 2022”. The program runs June through the Fall.

Since launching in 2021, we have employed 80 Jersey City Resident Youths ages 16-24!

Now hiring Youth ages 16-24 and Adults. Placements available in various Jersey City and Hudson County Parks across the 6 Jersey City Wards.

Learn directly from Jersey City Park Coalition members.

Park Ambassadors get hands on experience ranging from basic park maintenance and landscaping, social media & marketing experience, native plant care and participate in our many community Nature & Art outreach programs.

Enjoy caring for animals and interested in becoming an veterinarian? Learn what it takes to become a farm animal caretaker at the Historic Jersey City Harsimus Cemetery.

Placements available at Canco Park, Bayside Park, Historic Jersey City Harsimus Cemetery, Gateway Park & More!

Need Service Hours for Graduation? Volunteer opportunities are available. Please bring your Service Hour log. Certificate of completions will be issued.
