Jersey City Parks Coalition – Plates for Parks Brunch: Bayside Park, Saturday, October 26th, 2019 at 12 Noon EST

$25.00We are hosting a brunch at Bayside Park in collaboration with the Plates4Park brunch and dinner series.
Enjoy a delicious meal in Bayside Park while conversing with neighbors, friends, and meeting new ones! The autumn foliage will surround us along with views of the Bay, and the Jersey City and NYC skylines.
Adults will be seated at formal tables in upper Bayside Park while children ages 7 – 13, accompanied by an adult will have a picnic brunch on the lawn in the picnic area next to the adult seating area.
There will also be a history tour of the Bayview – New York Bay Cemetery, next to Bayside Park in collaboration with the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy. A link to tickets for the history tour of the cemetery will be made available shortly.
A flyer is attached along with a photo of the last brunch at Triangle Park is attached to give you an idea of what the experience will be like at Bayside.

Celebrate Jersey City’s dynamic food scene and enjoy a delicious three-course dinner in one of our beautiful parks. Each dinner will be created by a guest chef, and all proceeds will support the Jersey City Parks Coalition in our mission to empower residents to develop, renovate, use and maintain their community parks and public spaces of Jersey City; thereby revitalizing neighborhoods and lifting communal and human spirits.
Brunch starts at 12p Sharp! Adults $25.00 Children$10.00 + tax & feess
Chef, Alex Sartoga of Garden Steaks
About Chef Sartoga:
Our Chef Alexandra Sartoga is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. After graduating she went on to work at the Michelin-stared Oceana and later the Executive Corporate Dining Rooms of Bank of America at Bryant Park and Washington D.C.
In her free time Alex volunteers in a charitable organization she co-founded, ‘Feed JC’ a youth leadership and hospitality mentorship program which curates a dinner series in the parks.
